Physics division Science Institute University of Iceland (1998-)

Research Professor since sept. 2006. Conducting research on growth of thin films by sputtering in general and hydrogen interactions in thin films and superlattices. Initiating the establishment of the Icelandic nano-lab instrument center in Iceland. Growth of nano-structured materials with STM and MBE growth of semiconductors. Currently supervising or co-supervising three doctoral students.

Teaching at undergraduate levels at the physics department.
