I extended my M.Sc
research, which is the first of its kind in Iceland, in 1998 when I edited and wrote an introduction to a book, which the
Icelandic Literary Society published. The book contains three articles written
by an Icelandic geologist, Thorvaldur Thoroddsen (1855-1921), and published
