Travel information
There are three airlines flying to Iceland.
- Iceland Express from Copenhagen, Billund, Gothenburg, Oslo, Paris (Orly), London (Stansted), Berlin, Frankfurt (Hahn), Friedrichshafen, and Eindhoven.
- Icelandair from Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Paris (CDG), London (Heathrow), Berlin, Frankfurt, New York, Boston, Baltimore, Minneapolis, Orlando and few other cities
- British Airways from London (Gatwick).
The official travel agency of the conference is Hekla Travel AB. The participants can either make their reservations at Hekla Travel and use their services or arrange the travel on their own. Those who make their own arrangement can easily find hotels in Reykjavík using e.g. Google.com. AIRPORT BUSES: The Flybus from Keflavik Airport leaves approximately 30-35 minutes after each passenger flight's arrival. Passengers are dropped off at all major hotels in Reykjavík. A free pickup service on departure is available from the same hotels. Seat reservations are made at the desk of your hotel the evening before departure. The distance between Keflavik Airport and Reykjavik is 50 km and it takes ca 45 minutes in driving. You can buy your ticket inside the Terminal or on board the bus. The price is 1150 Isk o/w (ca. 13 €).
