Research
Research in the chemistry division covers a wide range of topics, including theoretical chemistry, physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organometallic chemistry and organic chemistry. New organic and inorganic chemicals are being synthesized, the properties of molecules and ions measured by the use of various spectroscopic techniques and computer calculations used to predict atomic scale structure and mechanism of transitions.
