August 2006 - The Chemistry Division's new website opened.
The Chemistry Division of the Science Institute is the main research center for chemistry at the University of Iceland and has over the years improved facilities for research in most areas of chemistry.
At the Chemistry Division there are 8 project leaders who are faculty members and research scientists at the Division. Also a variable number of graduate students, research assistants and B.Sc. students work at the Chemistry Division.
Right now there are 7 M.Sc. students and 11 Ph.D. students.
